Miss Guyana World 2015, Lisa Punch

Miss Guyana World 2015, Lisa Punch yesterday paid a courtesy call on President David Granger at the Ministry of the Presidency, ahead of heading to China next month to compete in the 65th edition of the Miss World Pageant, to be held on December 19. Punch, whose ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ project for the pageant is suicide prevention, launched Prevention of Teenage Suicide (POTS) Guyana last month and has been visiting schools to get the message across to children. According to GINA, she is looking forward to working with interested stakeholders to establish a suicide crisis centre to provide support for young people.
